We continue to invest heavily in our breeding program at Yallambee Angus. Bulls from Canada, such as Northline Revival and Red CRSL Goldmaster, were added as sires to our herd in recent years specifically for their balanced traits and maternal function.
We also added several prominent Australian sires, notably Milwillah Blackout in 2021 purchased for $100,000. A son of S Powerpoint, he was carefully selected to build the performance and growth in our herd and we are looking forward to seeing the results of introducing these outstanding genetics. We expect him to have a lasting impact, not just on breeding at Yallambee, but in the wider industry. Most notably, he is a red gene carrier and can be used on either herds.
